No matter where in Houston you live, no matter what your favorite team is whether it be Pop Warner or all the way up to the Professionals, football is a great activity to do with your family. There are several reasons why this is true. The first is that at a football game you are all engaged in the same thing, it gives you something to laugh, joke, and be frustrated (if they lose) about during and after creating memories for you family. You also will probably be driving to the game and from the game together adding to your family time. It also is a fun and safe atmosphere where you can enjoy all kinds of snack bar goodies. At a football game, your family will most likely be cheering for the same team and this can bring about bonding and it is good team-building or in this case “family-building.” There are many rules and requirements to football and getting to teach your family what they are or learn alongside of them has its rewards. Regardless of the age of your family, your history and knowledge of football, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. Football is a great family activity and you will only know that if you give it a try.
